Kristin duCharme, creator and director of Firework Studio, is a fine artist and educator working in Los Angeles. Her education includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Otis/Parsons Art Institute, and a Master of Fine Arts from Otis College of Art and Design. Kristin has extensive experience working as a painter, sculptor, and designer; she is accomplished in a variety of media and finds the challenges of working with glass inspiring. She has taken to combining her traditional art background with the endless possibilities of glass working. Kristin established her command of glass through studying with Susan Holland at Pilchuck Glass School in Stanwood, WA; with Roger Thomas (Portland, OR) and various classes through Santa Monica College. Kristin’s artwork is exhibited internationally and her unique jewelry is available online, at Ten Women Venice and in various high-end boutiques.
